In the summer of 2004, I did a bike trip from the Colorado/New Mexico border to Sante Fe in two days. My friend Anne dropped me off in the San Luis Valley region and I headed south for Taos on the first day.

Firstly, let me say that it was way too hot by 9 a.m. to be bicycling, but I peddled anyway. Each day I began riding at approximately 6 a.m. which helped me get some good mileage before the sun came out, but still, it was early June in New Mexico! :p)

My picture-taking skills are not as good as they are now, but below are some of my nicer New Mexico photos from the trip. -Steve

	Northern New Mexico has quite a few mountains, by the way. ;)
	Just south of Questa, I headed up a long and semi-grueling hill that gave some very nice views of the region.
	Ah, the picture quality is poor, but the canyon south of Taos where the Rio Grande runs through is quite scenic. (It was also downhill too which was nice!)
	Sigh! I love New Mexico!
